Area Information
Hania is the capital of the Prefecture of Hania and it is the administrative, economical, communications and commercial center of the Prefecture. The bay of Suda that serves as the port of Hania, is the biggest and safest bay in the East Mediterranean and there is a daily ferry connection with Piraeus. The airport of Hania is located at Sternes, in Akrotiri, 14 km east of the town. Hania is connected by air to Athens and several countries from all over Europe through charter flights during the summer.

My husband and I especially enjoyed buying a bottle of wine and then drinking it in the room while we admired the view. The staff was also very nice and accomodating. I would avoid this hotel if I was a light sleeper and minded classic rock because there is a bar right below you and it does get loud! My husband and I didn't mind since we went right to sleep after the wine and we enjoyed the music! It did wake us up several times but we ended up falling right back asleep. I highly recommend this hotel for the price and the awesome sea view!!! | 5 |

It is not for those expecting amenities (the bathroom was extremely small) as it is in the Old Town and in an old building, but the view of the harbor is beautiful, with a lovely little balcony. The one real drawback is that there is a lively nightlife on the harbor, and the music is loud and goes very late. Be ready to tune it our or put in your earplugs. | 5 |
